About us
Coolpolitics realises projects at places where young adults are present and that have to do with social engagement, knowledge and reflection (i.e. the urge to discover the deeper meaning of life). We organise festival debates, create television shows, produce events and publish in print. Basically, anything to show that we, in and outside of the Netherlands, are indeed engaged and eager to learn.
We develop as well as execute cross-over projects. We take elements from street culture, art, science and our own experiences and fuse them into innovative concepts. This unique combination results in authentic, qualitative and creative productions. We work together with experienced national and international partners, such as MTV Networks, Boomerang Media, ID&T, Mojo Concerts, OMA/AMO, 3FM, and Sp!ts.
Philosophy
We believe that everyone has a sense of social responsibility and that every person has his own reasons for doing what he does. We all want to know about the ways of the world and we are all inspired by someone or something //we are all looking for inspiration. Even so, today’s political culture does not inspire us to get into action. This, we regret. That is why we create concepts that do fit today’s world. Pop festivals, television, news papers and the Internet are all part of that world. In this, the most important question is, how we can contribute to it.

Coolpolitics cares for content rather than entertainment. We want to inspire adolescents to improve the world and be ambitious about it. In doing this, a can-do mentality is essential: nothing is impossible. This implies that Coolpolitics may be confronting. We will heat up the fire if necessary and we are insensitive to taboos. We constantly pick out the best of various cultures, disciplines and subjects, and blend it all into something new and genuine.
